Circa 1892.  Maker Unknown. It has been backed with a 1950s fabric and a 3" ruffle, batting, then tied. Beautiful antique velvets and silks with a wide assortment of crazy quilt stitches. Two clues - a commemorative ribbon (Ninth Annual Reunion North Western. Veteran Association. Correctionville, Iowa, June 17, 18, 19, 1891) and a hand-painted silk ribbon with flowers and the initials M.I.W. Size: 45"W x 72"L
