Crochet Edged Crazy Quilt. This is the first crazy quilt I ever bought. It is from Kansas and the maker is unknown. I was drawn to the five-inch continuous crochet border and the variety of feather stitches. It has hung in our guesthouse for many years. Some of the silks are deteriorating but the weft remains held in place with feather stitches. Circa 1900. Maker unknown. 72” x 76”.
