The pouch is a playground of texture, highly decorated with traditional Victorian stitches, shimmering seed beads, vintage buttons, and an array of whimsical "doodads." Unlike later pieces, this early work is lined and backed with beautiful patterned cotton drapery fabrics, offering a glimpse into Judith's material evolution. The design is finished with a 4” curved fold-over flap, a hand-braided strap made of rat-tail cord and rayon ribbons, and a charming tassel accented with pastel buttons.
