Late 1800s. Maker unknown. I purchased this worn crazy quilt for the beautiful antique chintz fabric backing and to research the embroidery stitches. (There is the equivalent of 4 yards of red floral chintz on the back). On the front is one lovely velvet piece with fern-type feather stitch fronds. Size: 67" W x 74" L.
