Late 1800s.  Maker Unknown. This is a spectacular, crazy quilt filled with wonderful Kate Greenaway embroideries. Catherine Greenaway (17 March 1846 – 6 November 1901) was an English Victorian artist and writer, known for her children's book illustrations and pattern books. The stitching is beautifully done.  I love this quilt and hope it gets a good home. Size: 49" W x 54" L.
