Victorian Crazy Quilt Top. This was sold as a cutter quilt. I purchased it many years ago with the thought of cutting it into squares for framing but never could.  There are beautiful floral embroideries, monograms, and seam stitches.  I recorded a variety of Victorian stitching combinations for future use.  Maker unknown. It is dated “To MNB 1889”.  There are names and initials throughout the blocks.   There is damage to many of the silk fabrics. 60” x 70”.
